New Audi R8 GT spotted at the Nürburgring

1.New Audi R8 GT spotted at the Nürburgring

This delectably orange Audi R8 is the upcoming, updated R8 GT or GT Plus, pictured at the Nürburgring. It's under track testing by the Quattro GmbH engineers in the place it should feel most welcome, negotiating the signatured asphalt of the Green Hell.
Up front, there's a new chin spoiler for added downforce. There are also front quarter panel winglets, like on the current R8 GT. You can also see large brake calipers, and the brake rotors seem to be carbon ceramic and cross-drilled. The sizable rear wing is most likely made out of carbon fiber.
The power output of the new car is approximated at 575 to 600 hp, compared to the 560 hp reading of the old model's 5.2-liter V10 engine.

Exclusive: Lexus LF-LC Concept

Since its birth in 1989, Lexus focus on the "hard" science of quality and reliability has been impressive. Even though it has some sporty models in its portfolio, the premium Japanese automaker is still mostly known for building luxury cars better known for quality than performance. On top of that, these products fall short in executing a styling language that appeals to the consumer's passion for automobiles—the "soft" science. Let's face it, buying a car is a very emotional decision. Ultimately, it is a personal statement expressed on the road. No matter how great a car performs, or how problem free it may be, looks count.a lot.
